Mouse Meets Marvel

Deciding they were tired of having rides only the “10 and under” set can appreciate, Disney announced earlier this week that they will be purchasing Marvel Entertainment in hopes of designing some roller coasters that actually go upside down. Okay, not necessarily Disney’s words or rationale, but lets hope it’s one of the exciting ideas birthed from this marriage.  Speaking of marriage, there is no word on which of the Disney Princesses Thor plans on hammering first, but we do know a Storm that Jack Sparrow wouldn’t mind sailing his vessel into.

Disney re-releases their classic films in a 10-year cycle, which they call “The Vault.” Using this concept, Disney is able to recreate demand and get the most out of their movies decades after their initial release. The crafty studio is also known for getting the most out of their dance choreography.
