Whether renting your first tux, spiking the punch, or just grinding your boner against your date for three solid hours, few traditions are more time-honored and revered by adolescents than the high school dance. Guys and gals have done a little pressin’ and messin’ on gym floors since the first mirror ball sparkled overhead, but now dirty dancing (AKA: “freakin”) is facing a little friction from parents in Orange County, FL. One parent recently complained after chaperoning a high school dance that it looked like eighty-percent of the students were having sex with their clothes on. Which begs the question: what were the other twenty-percent doing? The Lindy Hop?

Fact

When the Waltz first gained popularity in the early 1800s in England it was considered "riotous and indecent" according to the Oxford English Dictionary. Today it is considered a classic. What does this mean? It’s only a matter of time before "slammin’ it in reverse and backing that thing up" is a highly regarded move.
