Forget the moon landing. One of the most impressive and telling accomplishments of man is the ability to take nearly any grain, fruit, or vegetable, and produce a buzz-inducing libation. Wine is one of the earliest.
Had you asked us in high school what went well with cheese, we would have said tomato sauce, crust, and some pepperoni. Today, thanks to our education, maturation, and piss poor decision making by numerous family members to not serve beer at their weddings, we’ve come to appreciate wine. Much like polyester plaid pants used to go with golf, wine went with snobbery. No longer, thanks to our good friend Gary Vaynerchuk of Wine Library TV.
