Dames We Dig  -

October 17th, 2011

She’s a pulchritudinous powder keg full of perseverance and pluck — a Philadelphia Eagles fanatic who is not afraid to kick a little ass, get blood on her hands and have fun while doing it. This month’s Dame We Dig is B-movie horror hottie Brooke Lewis

Opportunity may knock, but in Hollywood you can die before it even makes it onto your block. While successful on Off-Broadway in NYC, Brooke decided to let patience be a virtue for others and to make her own luck in Tinsletown by creating her own production company, Philly Chick Pictures

The key to Brooke’s success is not only her raw talent and hard work, but the fact that she possesses the rare ability to not take herself too seriously. That’s a quality that is hard to find. Cool chick!

Times Brooke has been killed on film. Quite remarkable when you consider she’s been in over 20 films with such names as Carnage & Deception, Slime City Massacre and Dahmer vs. Gacy.

We know what you’re thinking: "Where were the Oscar nods?"

You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.

Mae West (Brooke’s idol and fellow curvy temptress)

adj.     overflowing with fervor, enthusiasm, or excitement; high-spirited.

Brooke isn’t just another pretty face. She is a straight up ham who loves to entertain. For proof, look no further than her alter ego, Ms. Vampy, a blood-sucking, tween talk-show host with an obnoxious Brooklyn accent.

Actor, producer, writer, production company head… you may be asking yourself what can’t Brooke do? Who knows? She DID, however, have a freestyle hit, “Get Me Off Your Mind,” back in the day in which, no doubt, sweaty club goers ground abrasions into one another.

The List

Actors Brooke Has Worked With

Tony Todd That’s The Candyman to you and me, Russ. Also known for his creepy-ass role in the Final Destination film series. Dude is like 30 feet taller than Brooke.
William Forsythe To see him is to know him. Best known for his role as Sheriff Wydell in Rob Zombie’s The Devil’s Rejects. Do NOT buy ice cream from the man.
Billy Dee Williams We know what you’re thinking. Holy sh*t, Lando Calrissian! Sadly, Brooke didn’t get an opportunity to sip a little Colt .45 on the Millenium Falcon, but they were in iMurders together.
Charles Durning Two words, ledge end. Meatballs III anyone? Dark Night of the Scarecrow ring a bell? Okay, how about The Sting?
Michael Pare This cat starred in the greatest rock-n-roll movie about a band that never was, Eddie & The Cruisers.

A multi-talented horror queen with a heart of gold, Brooke is perfect for October’s Dame We Dig.

With all she does, she also is involved in charity work. Donate to her Dread Central Horror Starlets Bowling for Boobies Team and help fight breast cancer!
