You who climb mountains, only because they are there. who go hiking without letting anyone know. who go off into the wilderness with near reckless abandon. you who climb mountains or buildings without a safety harness. you are like those who bet everything at Black Jack, and then are surprised there was a change all along you might even loose.nI will not mourn your arm. you lost it through sheer stupidity. I hold no sympathy for those who knowingly take such risks for absolutely no reason.

    I hold no sympathy for those who assume others are stupid just because they have different passions and viewpoints. Everything’s a risk dude, EVERYTHING. You don’t have to be sympathetic but you sure don’t have to accuse risk-takers of stupidity.

    Bro… You’ve got a set of brass cajones bigger than that boulder you were pinned behind! While I lost my left arm just below the shoulder, I was knocked into a coma when it was severed, but you were 100% cognizant and had to break the bones and cut the flesh with a dull knife, feeling every nerve impulse from every stroke of that dull blade. I hope you continued climbing as I continued in athletics (winning a lifetime drug-free title by beating able-bodied competitors later becoming an elite level Paralympic cyclist). You have my respect and I can’t wait to see the movie! (BTW, a friend posted a newscast of one of my bodybuilding competitions on YouTube, look up Golden Trunk Man)

    By the sound of your letter, you are probably an overweight person that won’t dare to step foot out of the house for fear that an out of control car might strike you down, a very immature person that just felt like stirring emotion or you’re just an asshole with no concept of passion for anything other than being an asshole. Unless of course, you are upset that he is set to make money from an unfortunate incident and you happen to get fired from every burger flipping position you’ve ever held.nnGranted, if he put others at risk, it would be a completely different story, but he didn’t and if he’s not mourning the whole scenario by saying, “Why me?”, your comments are completely unwarranted.
