    35% haven’t funneled? 35% haven’t lived!

American beer is foreign to me, as is the acquired taste that it requires. The only thing that’s light about it is the flavour, although it’s guaranteed to leave a rough taste in the mouth. If you want refreshment a glass of iced water should suffice, beer should be full bodied and actually TASTE of its ingredients.

  • Mizzle

I agree with Rich. Light (Lite) beer is crap.

    That’s what she said.

    I couldn’t resist.

    I think they are funny.

Too bad all those advertising dollars are getting spent to dumb down people’s taste buds. It’s beer, guys. It’s not supposed to help you lose weight and it’s supposed to taste like beer, not a watery beer-like substance. Yeah, you can buy the light stuff for less money. But then you have to drink it.

  • Danson

You are supposed to DRINK the beer, not let the flavors cascade over your taste buds, letting the nuances of flavors tease the………..
    Just drink your fucking beer!

I have to wonder how many people still don’t realize that Budweiser is no longer an American beer. It was bought out by a Belgian company a while ago. Miller and Coors ownership is only a little bit American. SABMiller owns 58% and that is in South Africa. Since Molson is a portion of this deal, Canada owns a portion of the remaining 42%. I encourage everyone to try to drink American beers. Stick to the microbrews, read the fine print on the bottles, or figure out which ones are listed on http://www.drinkamerican.us/

The very first posters for Miller Lite had the message “Miller Lite leaves more room for” followed by a picture of a cheeseburger that had to be a 2 pounds and a mountain of french fries higher than Mt. Everest. Somehow the idea of drinking
this beer to lose weight was lost on me.

I had to stop drinking beer for medical reasons, but I still have strong feeling about the sport! It’s hard to play in the big leagues for thirty years without haveing formed strong bonds to the 12oz curls.

Life is too short to drink cheap beer or lite beer. If I cant get a Oktoberfest Bier from Munich I will drink a Dos XX but you will never catch me drinking a bottle of that watered down garbage they make here in the States and call it beer.

Being an advertising student I can appreciate some of the brilliant campaigns that some of the beer companies have come up with.

However this groove shit is pointless, just goes to show you how stupid the companies think we really are : )
