Thinking About … Commuting

  • Crazy

3.4 Million Americans endure a commute of 90 minutes or more each way to work.nnAre these people fuckin nuts?nnThe jobu00a0 better be worth it. And no I’m not talking about money. You couldn’t pay me enough to drive 3 hours a day for a job.

  • TKeeper

You’ve never been to west Texas, have ya, mate? Takes thatnlong to get to the next town…..

  • Crazy

I’m from Montana, I know all about distance. nI think most of the nuts commuting are the trendyu00a0 city people that want to live in the suburbs or out in the “country”.

  • Bre

I make a 30-minute commute with my husband, so I get to nap on the way to work. :-)

  • Yankeepizzabaker

And have more money than they have sense…….also, too much free time on their hands.

  • Guybert

If your daily commute is that long, maybe you should think of getting a different job, or a different house. The difference in gas would make the payments on a time-share or small cabin if you cut 100 miles off of your commute every day.

  • Yankeepizzabaker

I agree and gas will not get much cheaper from this point on, either.u00a0 Where we live there is actually a system of transportation vans that transport workers to our city and the drive is right at 100 miles each way…….those people are idiots.u00a0 They have to leave around 5:30 AM to come to work and leave work at 5:00 PM to return home…..and get there around 7:00 PM, depending on traffic problems.u00a0

You don’t get stuck in traffic. You ARE traffic.
