Thinking About … Guns N’ Roses

We want to know what you "think" about.  These short "yes/no/don't care" surveys provide another way for TTP readers to learn, share, and blast off.

ANSWER. ASK. COMMENT.

Thinking About … Guns N' Roses

I freaking love the band and that CD.
I can't tell you how many times I had to replace it, but that is one I CANNOT do without.

  • Kelly

I confess I don't care for G&R, but my boyfriend loves their music. At the same time, I wish to complain about your gender-specific sexual questions in the yes-or-no portion of this page. I am a woman. I am not a lesbian. I have never banged a woman under any circumstances. Maybe ask if we have gotten laid under the circumstances that you wish to inquire about. That way you could embrace the women who read your newsletter as well as the homosexuals. I'm tired of answering “no” when I have had sex under the circumstances that you put forth and I don't really want to put down “don't care” when I do care!

I purchased this as a cassette, and replaced it twice due to it wearing out. When I got a CD player, I bought a CD and then proceeded to wear it out. I'm on my second copy, and I recently added it to my itunes library.

After a lackluster mid-eighty run from most bands GNR cameout and had me turned on to music again, I went maybe 5 years listening to older Maiden, Priest and Sabbath and then venturing into Jazz and Folk and some punk, they made Rock and Roll COOL again and made the Glam bands (Crue, Poision, Bon Jovi) look likethe Girls tat they were.

I think you should have told us about how 30 years ago today ACDC Back in Black also came out and was the first album without Bon Scott and introduced Brian Johnson, ex Geordie singer. Also it is, I believe, in the top 5 best selling albums in the States selling around 22 million copies. I never was a G7R fan but thought this was good TP material.

Obviously people loved the band…but I've never been able to stomach their music (?) myself. I know I know…different strokes…!

Slash just put out a self-titled album that's pretty interesting. He got with stars like Lemmie Killmister, Ozzie Osborn and Iggy Pop along with some younger talent each star doing a different song. Not what I would call a stellar album, but worth listening to a few times.

    Hi Kelly,

First off thanks so much for your readership and taking these fun Urtak surveys. Second, I applaud you for you candor in wishing to share your “yes” answers regarding our occassional sex questions. We try to be mindful of gender biased questions in our surveys as much as possible, in fact, while you and homosexuals may not have been able to answer today's questions – straight dudes and lesbians were. Thanks so much for reading and commenting and for the record we embrace ALL of our readers, especially those with a sense of humor. We'll take better care of you next time.

Agree with Kelly. Gender-biased questions prevent honest answers. Sweet Child of Mine was definite go-to song for me. Everytime I hear it, I remember my ex – not a bad thing at all!

You know AFD comes pretty near number 1 but just doesn't get there with AC/DC's Back in Black in it's way.
