I’ve done it a couple times, people will tell you what they think you want to hear to get some.

I have used an on-line dating service and have met many nice women (I am a man) and I am currently dating a woman I met on-line.

I know several couples who have met online and gotten married. It works for some people and not so much for others. I just think it becomes a problem when someone relies solely on internet dating to find that right person and forgets how to actually communicate with people in a “real” way.

I am the author of THE INTELLIGENT WOMAN’S GUIDE TO ONLINE DATING: And She Lived Happily Ever After. I did online dating for three years and met hundreds – yes, hundreds – of men – until I met Mr. Right (on Match.com). We are getting married on June 5! Online dating can be daunting. Women, especially, need to be patient, proactive, and positive. Everyone makes the same mistakes. It’s definitely a learning curve. That’s why I wrote my book.

I met my wife online. We just celebrated our 7th anniversary together. It doesn’t always work for everyone though.
