Thinking About … Reunions

OMG……this edition followed closely an invitation to my class reunion. The FORTY-SEVENTH. I told them I wasnt driving all that way to eat lunch….but what I didnt add was: with a group of losers whose names I cant really remember. But now youve got me intrigued. I went to my 20th class reunion and it was grim. The people I most wanted to see were not there. The ones who WERE there were people I had nothing to talk to about. Maybe I will go back for my FIFTIETH class reunion, assuming Im still alive.

My 10 th reunion was ok, but my 20th was possibly the best party i have ever been too. Got so loaded with the boys, that the wives, made a totally cool decision to let us have fun and enjoy the old days. So they left and went home waiting for the call to be picked up. From what I was told, the rest of the night was a 10 on the richter scale. Funny thing was that in the early half of the party, I hung out with all the old friends I hadent seen for 20 years, but by the end, I was with the same 5 guys that I was still hanging with 20 years later, and looking around the hall it appeared everyone else ended up with their current friends too. Just shows, good friends will stay together, in the end, forever. Oh, and the next ten years saw me crash, get straight, and not go to 30th because I didnt want to do the same thing, so I didnt even go. A couple years from number 40, so I’ll decide about going then.
