Thinking About … Safety via Absurdity?

I have never belonged to a gang or even a clique.u00a0 No one would look at me and ask me to join anything.u00a0 Most gang members are looking for an extension of their family.u00a0 That also explains why most are hispanic/latino.u00a0 The come from large families who look to become an extended family of every other person who comes from their nation.u00a0 If one belongs to a gang, they will invite all others who have joined their family into the gang as well.u00a0 It’s a pity, because some of the kids are pretty good until they get mixed up with the wrong “family” members.

No true loners would ever belong to a gang.u00a0 Why would you want someone telling you what to wear, where to go and what to do all the time?u00a0 Might as well call the gang leaders “Mommy”.

Actually think the best way to combat gangs is to change our unsuccessful drug laws to cut off their funding

  • Phil

It’s prohibition with a different substance.

Used to be, if you were a “delinquent” you could either go to jail or go in the Army. Now the thugs go in the Army and learn combat techniques to be used on the general public when they are released from service. So if that is the case, make them desk jockies, don’t give them weapons and train them how to use them properly.
